CANDIA proudly participated in the premium tourism industry exhibition, XENIA 2024, held in November 23-25, 2024, at the Metropolitan Expo. CANDIA's specialized Hospitality team engaged with tourism professionals and business owners, aiming to provide tailored sleep solutions of the highest quality.

The CANDIA booth showcased key elements of the Ritual concept, inspired by its award-winning concept stores, seamlessly blending with Mediterranean architecture. Within this warm and inviting Mediterranean setting, CANDIA not only exhibited its hotel mattress collection but also unveiled the new KERAMOS mattress from the INVENTOR collection, launched this November.

XENIA is recognized as the leading trade forum for the tourism sector and a vital driver of growth for the country's tourism industry. This year, the event welcomed over 500 exhibitors, showcasing pioneering trends and innovations in the field.

The new CANDIA store in Kefalonia, at 4 Devosetou Street in Argostoli held its official opening on Friday, October 18, 2024. Through the new atmospheric space that exudes the Mediterranean breeze, visitors had the opportunity to participate in live in-store activations with rich prizes, but also to taste spirits from Crete and Mediterranean finger food.

The partner of CANDIA in Argostoli Mr. Vaptistis Fois with his family welcomed a crowd of friends, entrepreneurs in tourism and construction, and representatives of the local authorities at the grand opening event that included music, in-store happenings and of course the best sleep products!

The new CANDIA store in Trikala, at 19 Venizelou & Ptolemaiou Street, officially opened its doors on Friday, May 31, 2024. Crowds of people rushed to live the CANDIA sleep experience and take part in the LIVE prize draw.

The store has been designed according to the philosophy "Wake up in the Mediterranean" and the decoration of the store exudes the aura of the Mediterranean, following the standards of the award-winning CANDIA concept stores. Inside the store, visitors can find CANDIA's mattress and bed collections, as well as quality mattress toppers, pillows, linens and other sleep products.

CANDIA participated in the International Furniture and Design Exhibition, Salone del Mobile, held in Milan from April 16 to 21, faithful to its appointment with architects and clients from all over the world for the 13th time. CANDIA’s booth stood out for its minimal Mediterranean decoration, clean lines, and earthy tones, creating an oasis of well-being among equally impressive urban or industrial design booths.

Covering an area of 200 square meters, visitors had the opportunity to experience a unique journey, as they mentally traveled to a Mediterranean island with sun, sea, and relaxation through their thoughts and senses. They touched the natural materials and sustainable fabrics of CANDIA, smelled the sea breeze, and tasted traditional Greek spirits, while listening to the invigorating sounds of the sea. The Mediterranean style of decoration was complemented by traditional elements such as straw, terracotta, wood, and lush natural plants.

A point of reference and a favorite scene for visitors for photographs was the "room" of CANDIA spread along the main entrance of the booth. This welcoming room, emphasizing the clean lines of the furniture and the harmony found in the Cycladic atmosphere, strongly evoked carefree moments on vacation as visitors reclined on the mattresses of the INVENTOR and LUXURIANT collections in a peaceful environment. Particularly impressive was the AMALFI bed, from the HERITAGE collection, with a headboard upholstered in fabric with intricate patterns, soft chenille texture, and unique colors. Additionally, the linen and cotton fabrics from the Linen and Organic Cotton collections stood out.

Present from CANDIA were top management and export and hotel sales managers, conveying to visitors the Mediterranean hospitality and philosophy of CANDIA summarized in the phrase "WAKE UP IN THE MEDITERRANEAN".

Another CANDIA store in Thessaloniki, located at 9 Smyrnis Street in Evosmos. Based on the standards of award-winning concept stores with Mediterranean architecture and the company's philosophy, the new store combines the aura of the Mediterranean with the CANDIA sleep experience, so that visitors can live a unique Mediterranean experience.

CANDIA was present for the 12th consecutive time at Salone del Mobile.Milano where hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world flooded the exhibitors' stands, despite the global turbulence.

CANDIA stood out of them with a booth reminding the calming atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sea, the very same sea that was a source of inspiration for the newest mattresses of Inventor, Luxuriant and Principal collections that became the major attraction. Visitors showed interest in every aspect of the products: the patterns on the fabrics, the innovative raw materials, and the technology behind the production that ensures a mattress is suitable for each person and their needs. They focused on the sustainable fabrics used for the iconic beds of the Heritage and Nostalgia collection, but also on the production stages of the unique Knossos, Kydonia and Kamares that are made with handmade methods, know-how derived from Bodyfix mattresses.

QUALITY – INNOVATION – SUSTAINABILITY, values of CANDIA, accompanied the exhibits and were explained to the visitors. CANDIA is a company that has chosen to innovate, not to compromise on quality issues and to select raw materials and processes that respect the natural environment.

The Retail Interiors Awards 2017, that took place on Tuesday, January 23rd, awarded Candia’s new flagship store in Athens on 2 major categories. Retail Awards highlight & award the most important interior designs and decoration projects in the retail industry, creating a unique environment for the visitor. Candia was awarded with the Silver Award in the Best Interior -non Food category, for the innovative architecture and interior design of the flagship store, as well as the unique experience it offers to the visitor. The second Silver Award won in the Concept Store category rewards the philosophy and the central idea behind the store design, under the creative platform WAKE UP IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

The successful course of CANDIA in Kozani was sealed with a beautiful celebration for the store's 10 years of operation, on Friday, September 27, at Smyrnis Street 25 in the city center. The decoration, the music, and the festive atmosphere of the evening caused positive impressions and the guests enjoyed a Mediterranean evening.

After years of perfect presence in the city, CANDIA proceeded to renovate the specialized store with mattresses, beds and sleep products. The store was designed according to the standards of Candia's new award-winning concept stores. The design, decoration and architecture of the store was adapted to serve the "Wake up in the Mediterranean" philosophy so that customers live a special Mediterranean experience. It is a bright, functional, and imposing space thanks to the special "Bedroom furniture" that dominates the interior space.

CANDIA has won the INNOVATIVE PRODUCT award at the MADE IN GREECE 2017 awards with the BODYFIX hand-made mattress collection. The awards are organized by the Greek Academy of Marketing, with the aim of highlighting and rewarding Greek companies that achieve outstanding performance in the creation and distribution of their products. In this renowned organization, they have been distinguished 100 companies over the past years for their quality, innovation, extroversion and their brand power, that take key role to the company’s growth and prosperity.

The awards run with the support of the Greek Ministry of Rural & Food Growth and the ceremony took place on 11^th of December at Athens Concert Hall (‘Megaron’), in a festive evening for Greek production.
